The Code is current through December 2008, except for Ordinance 2008-01 which has not been included because it is in the process of being repealed. Town Elections

Town elections are held in the Town Hall on the 2nd Monday of September beginning September 2006 and every 3 years thereafter. The Board consists of a Burgess (Mayor) and five Commissioners. Terms last for three (3) years. If you are interested in running for an elected position, please contact the Town Hall for more information.

Voter Registration

If you live within the corporate limits of the Town and wish to vote in Town Elections in addition to national, state, and county elections, you must register with the Election Board in Winchester Hall, 12 E. Church St., Frederick. If you prefer, you may register by mail by picking up a form at the Town Hall. You will automatically be registered to vote in Town Elections.
